The Tabernacle Baptist Church was founded April, 1912.  This building is considered a part of the Eufaula, AL historic foundation.

The church was founded after confusion between some of the members  of First African Baptist Church.
 The founders of the church began many contest in order to build the church, one being each member were asked to bring bricks and whoever brought the most were considered the winner.  This contest resulted in the building of the church.

By the grace of God, Tabernacle Baptist Church  continue to grow and thrive as a body of believers who stand on God’s word.
